Norway Will SupportBulgarian e-Government

IvayloMoscovski, Minister of MTITS, had a working visit to Norway on 3 and 4 May 2012, where made agreements for funding projects related to e-government and innovations under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and Norwegian cooperation program, economic growth and sustainable development. The specific amount of funding will depend on the Bulgarian side proposed projects.

On this occasionthe Ministry specified in relation to publications emerged that e-government will not happen because no one knows who is responsible, that with the decree № 268 of 09.26.2011, Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers established Council for Electronic Governances, with Chairman Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. Vice-Chairmen of the Council are Simeon Djankov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Ivaylo Moscovski, Minister of Transport and Communications and Tomislav Donchev, Minister for Funds Management from European Union.
